The Downtown Hattiesburg Association invites you to be a part of the 8th Annual Hattiesburg Craft Beer Festival on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 6-9PM (VIP entry at 5PM) at Town Square Park in Downtown Hattiesburg. This event takes place during FestivalSouth, Mississippi’s only multi-week, multi-genre arts festival, setting this event apart from other beer festivals as we showcase the art and artists behind craft beer.
VOLUNTEER PERKS
Food before the Festival begins, a special Festival shirt for Brew Crew members only, the ability to work with great breweries, entry into the Festival, a fun experience, and some other perks along the way!
REQUIREMENTS
Must be at least 21 years of age. Photo IDs will be checked. Most volunteer opportunities require standing for lengths of time and being able to lift about 30 pounds. Some volunteer areas require heavy lifting, moving tables, carrying ice, etc. Basic knowledge of craft beer is required for volunteers interested in assisting brewery reps. Otherwise, beer knowledge is not required. Volunteers will be representing the Festival and are required to be courteous, helpful, and aid those with questions or needs. Volunteers cannot consume alcoholic beverages during their shifts.
ATTIRE
Volunteers must wear the provided t-shirt during their shift, with bottoms of appropriate length that are not torn or tattered. Closed-toe, non-slip comfortable shoes are recommended.
VOLUNTEER ORIENTATION
There will be a mandatory Volunteer orientation meeting on June 16th at 5:30pm at Southern Prohibition Brewery. There will be detailed volunteer information emailed to all volunteers.
