We provide medical care, compassion, and education to patients and their families that have been diagnosed with a terminal illness. Hospice provides comfort to patients and their families by reducing the stress, pain and other symptoms of a serious illness. It is about helping people live as well as possible when life expectancy is limited. Volunteers play a huge role in providing other forms of care by offering friendly visits to patients, companionship, caregiver relief, writing letters, baking cookies, and so much more.
