5th Annual Target Literacy Event

Free Community Literacy Event held outside of Target Hattiesburg. This is an annual event that is open to the community and promotes literacy by offering a story time, hands-on activities, free book per child while supplies last, and more! It's our way of celebrating Read Across America week. This year's theme is "We're Going on a Bear Hunt" featuring an interactive story walk, sensory area, infant/toddler play area, snack station, and character interactions. Fun for the whole family! We need volunteers to help decorate, setup/take down event, man stations such as sensory bins, photo stations, giving out snacks and replenishing supplies, interacting with children, etc. The event is from 3-6pm, but feel free to sign up for anytime on the 24th to help setup, decorate, and prepare for the event.
