2023 AFSP Out of the Darkness Walk

Nationwide, over 47,000 people die by suicide. In Mississippi alone, someone dies by suicide every 20 hours on average, with suicide being the 3rd leading cause of death for college-aged students. Suicide has touched many lives in our community. The 2023 Out of the Darkness Walk for Suicide Prevention is an opportunity to come together to support one another, raise awareness for this major issue, and raise donations to help prevent further deaths.
