United Way Day of Action is an invitation for people and organizations around the world to LIVE UNITED. It is a day that we ask you to help us put our mission into action by volunteering to improve the building blocks for a good quality of life – education, economic mobility, and health.
Project Locations:

Domestic Abuse Family Shelter: Help with landscaping for the new DAFS educational/transition house.

Habitat for Humanity: Organzine and sort items at the Restore Warehouse.

Edwards Street Fellowship Center Food Pantry: Repackaging bulk food, weeding flowerbeds, picking blueberries, picking up limbs on nature trail, & decorating grocery bags.

Edwards Street Fellowship Thrift Store: Sorting, organizing, and displaying donations within the store.

RISE: Organize and sort items for garage sale

R3SM: Yard Work, landscaping, cleaning, and painting wrap around front porch at the R3SM Volunteer House.

Hope Community Collective- Marion County: Outside - mowing, weed eating, trash pickup Inside - sorting clothes, sorting hangers, cleaning, moving racks, loading/unloading donations, bringing inventory from the back room to shopping area.

Christian Services: Sorting donations from the Christian Services warehouse.
