

Who We Are
The USM Center for Behavioral Health is the premier behavioral health clinical training facility in the Gulf South region and offers state-of-the-art training experiences for graduate students in the accredited graduate programs in counseling, clinical, and school psychology. We have a commitment to providing the most current, evidence-based services supported by scientific research. All graduate student clinicians are supervised by licensed psychologists. The USM Center for Behavioral Health (CBH) mission is to increase access to quality mental health care by providing affordable, evidence-based services to children, adolescents, adults, USM college students, in South Mississippi; training competent and ethical psychologists and mental health counselors in evidenced-based best practice; and contributing to the advancement of cutting-edge research.
What We Do
We offer services for children, adolescents and adults. We serve community members and USM-students, faculty, and staff. Our services include individual, child, family, couples and group therapy, comprehensive diagnostic evaluations/ assessments, consultation in various areas, including school and Head Start consultation, parent training, and select pre-employment screenings/evaluations.
